4 Text As A Code

The Text is based on codes and the text itself is singular but provides a plural meaning and impressions through the use (poetic) language. What Barthes calls “codes” is in some perspective the nature of language when put together in significant ways can explain these impressions or incidents. Wikipedia is not making use of this symbolic language but keeping the language simple so that people can understand it. Its purpose is not to make people think in an abstract way but to give them the information they need.
