On the fan fiktion webpages one can read and even write, continue and create new stories of Harry Potter, even stories in another genre can be created using the characters and locations from the Rowling’s books.

In this case remediation occurs in the sense that a writer (the fan) borrows from the book by J. K. Rowling. Remediation occured in a single medium.
