Kristine Pastare

Hi!

My name is Kristine and I am an exchange student from Latvia. I'm here just for this semester and I'm sure it will be a really nice one. I am studying Theory of Culture and I have some work experience in media field (working in media monitoring, film registry etc.). As a Film Registry officer I had to deal with copyright problems so I started to get interested in authenticity and copyright issues. I'm also deeply interested in the impact of new media and digitalization on society, culture, art, me, you, everything since there is a real buzz around internet-digitalization-social media stuff in Latvia in recent years.
