Hello, my name is Lotte Philipsen and I am the lecturer for the course.

For quite some time I have wanted to create a course that investigates what happens to the concepts of art and authenticity in a time when digitalization is increasingly all-embracing, so I am excited to have the chance now. I hold a PhD in Art History, but visual arts will not be the main focus of this course. Rather, the theoretical implications of digitalization in general for art as such are of interest here, as well as the variety of impacts of digitalization on the art forms.
